Description
This assignment students
This is a simple description of the evidence I have uploaded. I am simply telling the audience what
is here. This is the my example of the studio project for my Frames unit plan.
Rationale
My work is a building floating in a surrealist landscape. That landscape is both a dark sky and a light ground. It gives the feel that it is both night and day. I wanted to make my print my house. My family loves to sail and be on the water so I placed the house by a body of water. I also used bright colors to show the happy memories I have in this home. The focal point of my artwork is the building, it being white really stands out. The way I achieved balance was will the repeating colors in the corners of the piece. My work reflects the work of Bobby Hill. He works in bright colors and bold colors for this prints. I used that as inspiration for my work.
