Rationale:
3B: understands a minimum of five artistic processes (e.g., printmaking, fiber arts, photography, sculpture, and electronic media).

Description: I show how I meet these standards in the rational by providing five different art forms I can manipulate and use skillful, Those mediums being needle felting, painting, Photoshop/ digital media, installation art, and illustration. These are just a few of the mediums I am proficient in.

STUDIO COURSE MINI PORTFOLIO
Rationale:
4B: understands how to communicate clear and focused ideas based on planning and problem solving techniques in creating visual arts.
Description: The studio class I choose for the studio course mini portfolio was my most recent studio class "Sculpture I". In this class we re-imaged a small object we had as a scaled up foam sculpture. I choose a doll shoe for this project. The other project I did for this class was a installation piece called "my room". I created a space with my doll collection, a handmade rug, and other pillows and blankets.

Description: This is my unit plan exploring the idea of humor in art. Looking at artist Jon Burgerman students will critical look at his work and how he is able to change the way we see the world thru humor.

Description: I curated an art show for the ISU NAEA Student Chapter Senior Annual Show. I worked with the other art students to put this show together. We had several different kinds of artwork. We had a reception where we where able to talk to viewers about our art.

Description: I attended Dr. Johnson's presentation on her research into the fiber artwork of artist Hannah Hoch. She went in-depth about an artist that I was interested in learning more about.

Rationale: 7N: advances his or her knowledge of current developments in the field by participating in professional development activities (e.g., coursework, professional organizations, and workshops).
Description: I volunteered to lead several art activity's and workshops at The Children's Discovery Museum (CDM). I interacted with family's from the community and helped them create works of art.

Description: I helped with several art activity's at Western Avenue community center. I worked with students during their free period time complete art projects they started during the Friday ISU art days.
